OVER THIRTY YEARS of event producing and marketing experience
for both public and private organizations, Monica Hubbard has
counseled boards, expanded donor bases and facilitated increased
participation in arts companies and educational institutions.
Hubbard's training sessions, organizational retreats and philanthropic
seminars have earned her repeated return invitations for nearly
three decades.
During
her extensive involvement in the education and arts community
of Southern California, Ms. Hubbard was, for twenty-seven years,
a director of choral activities at the California Institute of
Technology (Caltech), the nation's premier science and engineering
university. Throughout these years, she worked with professional
and volunteer-based organizations, assisting them with event presenting,
marketing and promotion, development of donor bases, and organizational
management.
A
graduate of Occidental College in Los Angeles, with degrees in
choral conducting and organ, Hubbard has brought a depth and breadth
of creative thinking to a wide variety of enterprises. From coordinating
national performances for an audience of 4000, to helping start-up
boards create mission statements, goals and governance procedures,
Hubbard's singular menu of experiences and network of associates
have provided administrative, managerial, promotional and research
support for numerous organizations and agencies (please see the
'clients' page).
Ms. Hubbard's community involvement includes board and committee service
to the The Foster Care Project, League of Women Voters Pasadena Area,
YWCA Foothill Valley, Vox Femina LA and Zonta Club of Pasadena. She is a
member of Americans for the Arts, Association of Fundraising
Professionals Greater LA Chapter and California Association of Nonprofits.
